CULTURAL OFFERINGS
With ten theaters offering over 11,000 seats, the Denver Performing Arts Complex (DPAC) is the second largest performing arts center in the nation (after Lincoln Center in New York) in seating capacity and the largest in the world under one roof. The center is entered under a block‑long glass arch and is noted for its unusual and striking architecture. There are hundreds of shows held in the DPAC each year which provide visitors with a great entertainment destination.
MILES OF SHOPPING
If time permits and you’re ready to shop, downtown Denver is the place for you. Denver is the largest shopping destination in a 600-mile radius. Several of Denver’s featured shopping areas are within “the Hoop” including Larimer Square, the 16th Street Mall, Denver Pavilions, Writer’s Square and the Shops at Tabor Center. These retail destinations include hundreds of boutiques, galleries, stores and restaurants.

From Food & Wine to USA Today, national food critics have been raving about Denver’s young, innovative chefs. Always known for its outstanding steakhouses (featuring both beef and buffalo), Denver now offers a wide selection of Latin and Asian fusion eateries as well as every other type of cuisine. Denver has more than 2,000 restaurants serving all varieties of cuisine, from popular chains like Hard Rock Café, ESPN Zone and the Cheesecake Factory to numerous original Denver restaurants throughout the city like the famous Buckhorn Exchange.
WHAT’S BREWING
A historical mining town with a long history of drinking and saloons, Denver nightlife today is a varied scene. The Mile High City has a high brewery count per capita specializing in select microbrews and authentic breweries with a local, Western flavor. Denver is home to one of the world’s largest brewers, Molson Coors, yet it also crafts more microbrews than any city in the world…more than 80 different beers are brewed here daily.
