The Metro Denver Sports Commission’s website is intended for communication to our members, partners, volunteers and other supporters. However, we welcome all Internet users who want to use our website for information-gathering purposes.

 

Our Web site contains forms through which users may request information or supply feedback to us.  In some cases, telephone numbers or return addresses are required so that we can supply requested information to you, and in other cases, correct names and addresses are required to process credit card payments. While we sometimes ask for credit card numbers, and either pass them on to a credit card processing service or process them manually, we do not store credit card numbers online.

Certain parts of our website are designed for members only usage. To obtain access to these areas, a registration process will be required where contact information will be collected (e.g. name, address, email etc.) to be used for ongoing interactions with our members. The Metro Denver Sports Commission does not share this information with any third party. Registered users will receive additional announcements from us about offerings, events and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.

The Metro Denver Sports Commission does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.

The Metro Denver Sports Commission offers links to other Web sites. Please note: When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours. The Metro Denver Sports Commission does not control the information collection and distribution policies of other sites and is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those Web sites.

To better serve our Internet visitors and to help diagnose problems with our website, the Metro Denver Sports Commission does employ basic site traffic pattern and search term reporting.  This includes typical web traffic analyses through which we track statistics such as which pages are visited in what order, where users come from, and how long users spend on our site. This data is never associated with specific identities.
