NCAA Women’s Basketball Final Four to be held in Denver in 2012

DENVER, Colo. – The NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Committee announced today that Denver will be the host city of the 2012 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Final Four. It marks the first time Denver will serve as host of the event.

The event will be held in April 2012, at Pepsi Center, with the tournament games scheduled for April 1 and 3. In conjunction with the Women’s Final Four, the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association conference will be held at the Denver Convention Center. Denver will realize an estimated 30 million dollars in economic development during the championship weekend.
