Sneaker Week Sneaker Week is the Metro Denver Sports Commission's main youth outreach program. It is a program designed to provide the underserved youth with access to new opportunities and experiences through sports. The program raises money through corporate entities and employees make donations for the right to wear sneakers to work for the week. Click here to find out what we are working on.

Bowl For Kids Sake The 2005 Bowl For Kids Sake event, November 11-19, was a huge success. Benefiting from the event will be the Metro Denver Sports Commission and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado. The events raised over $34,000 for youth programs. The Metro Denver Sports Commission raised over $8,100 which will go directly into the Sneaker Week 2006 fund. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado and the Metro Denver Sports Commission would like to extend a BIG THANK YOU to all our team captains, bowlers, and sponsors for making 2005 Bowl for Kids Sake a strike! Thanks for coming together to raise money for the kids we serve!
